In between the hubs of Hawksburn Village and Chapel Street sits a little coffee shop named Husband.  Big on ambience and space, yet compact and cosy, Husband aims to provide a welcoming experience for all and sundry.  It's intended to be used "as you see fit!"  Breakfast options are present, bits and bobs for Lunch as well - but the real reason to visit is for a coffee, some sugar, a chat and a little cheek from the guy behind the counter.
 
They have 7 (or is it 8?) food suppliers on board, resulting in a constantly evolving range of delights - I'll bet if your favourite isn't available Donovan or Tess can tempt you with something equally as delicious.  Newly sourced are Hummingbird Cupcakes, White Chocolate and Lemon Cheesecakes and Yvonne's Breakfast Egg Cups.  With a minimum of fuss each selection is provided with passionate care, a coffee is proffered and hopefully you will have the time to take a seat and relax for a little time.
 
Although the design of the place apparently kept the owner awake at night, it has come together tremendously.  A palette of Blues, Greens, Blacks and Murky Greys are all supported by dominant White and Timber aspects, it is not overtly masculine - but there is refreshingly little flounce to the space.  Small changes are achieved over-time, to pique interest and assist in the evolution of the store for the customers and proprietor.
